I’m Nick Foster, I have over 30 years experience as a successful and busy locksmith and I offer a 4 day, hands-on, one to one training course for domestic locksmithing including UPVC door fixes. You’ll receive an introduction to vehicle entry too.
Based in Bury, Lancashire, the training will be provided in my fully equipped training space and crucially, for you to get the very most from your training, also on real jobs you’ll attend with me in the Bury and Bolton area.
The training course is informal, loosely structured and has no final exam with little written content. This is a hands-on, one-to-one training course and that’s exactly what you’ll be doing and learning from.
All you have to do is book, pay a deposit to reserve your place and attend the course on your designated days. Everything else is organised for you to learn the skills of locksmithing, and the business of being a locksmith, as much as possible on any course. And since you’ll have to be close by you can even attend night appointments with me for yet more training and valuable experience.

If you need to, you don’t even have to commit to a full course before coming along. I offer a half day taster so you can see if being a locksmith is for you.
It will just be me and you, as training is fully reserved for that individual, but on a day where I have no Trainee you are very welcome to join me, check out the training space, ride along on real jobs, get a personal feel for the work but also talk to previous trainees and see how the exclusive Network they already belong to is such a fantastic resource.
No obligation to book thereafter, no sales pitch, just good honest advice from a working locksmith who loves the job and yes, a chance for you to experience the life without having to pay money first.
